Knockma is a hill in north Galway between Tuam and Headford. The pillar is in great condition, atop a very large mound of stones said to be Queen Maeve's grave. The views are excellent on a clear day as the surrounding area is flat plane for miles on all sides. There is a great view of Lough Corrib to the west, Galway city to the south and all the way to Knockroe in east Galway Pillar |
